Alcoholic beverages : are only to be consumed at your own campsite. Do not transport from site to site.
If drinking alcoholic beverages becomes a problem to neighbors or management, you will respectively be asked to leave the park immediately. No Profanity, Rowdiness or Drunkenness will be tolerated on our property.
Recreational Vehicles : No motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, or motor bikes are to be ridden in the campground for joyriding purposes. ATV’s may only be ridden on the camp trails and must be unloaded and loaded at the trail head. Golf carts are prohibited unless approved by management for a handicapped person and only used by the intended handicapped person. The golf cart must have a handicapped sticker. If anyone else is observed joyriding with the golf cart, the handicapped person will lose his privilege to use the golf cart on camp grounds.
Trash/Refuse – Burn all paper products. All other garbage must be put in dumpster at the campground entrance.
Water Turn on/off : Camping season begins April 1st and ends October 31st. Water will be turned on April 15th and turned off October 15th.
Timely payments : A minimum winter deposit of $200.00 is to be paid by September 31st of each year for the following camping season. Campers will be removed and the site will be considered vacant and available if the deposit is not paid by this date. Campground owners will not be responsible for damage caused by removal of the camper. . Regular daily rates apply between November 1st and March 31st, unless your deposit is paid for the following year.
After the $200.00 deposit has been paid, half of the balance is due by April 15th of each year with balance paid in full by June 15th. Fees not paid in a timely manner are just cause for forfeiture of that site. Campground owners will not be responsible for any damage incurred due to the necessary move.
Electric bills : are due and payable promptly after it has been posted on the bulletin board that they are ready. Any Payments that are over 1 month late will be charged a $25 late fee, per month
Pets : Pets must remain on a leash if not on your campsite, barking kept to a minimum and pet waste must be collected and disposed of properly. Do not dispose of pet waste in camper toilets as this clogs the system.
Speed Limit: All campers and guests must observe the 10 mile an hour speed limit throughout the campground.
Other Rules:
- No chain saw use after 12:00 noon or building . Please cease all use of leaf blowers, chain saws, and/or other noisy tools at noon on Saturday. Do not put wire on trees or drive nails into them.
- Do not wash or repair vehicles in campground. Absolutely no car washing on premises. This is cause for immediate eviction without refund.
- All overnight guests must be registered at the office. Please inform your guests beforehand to do this
- Children must be kept under control and supervised. Do not play or ride bicycles on the sites occupied by other campers.
- Do not park on a campsite other than your own without permission.
- After October 30, Gray Squirrel Campsites can not be your permanent residence.
- Campers coming into Gray Squirrel as a permanent camper, can not be over 25 years old
- Nonpayment of campground fees or fines according to scheduling.
- Nonpayment of fees for overnight guests, heaters, and/or AC.
- Unattended fires.
- Use of golf-cart for joy-ridding
- NON COMPLIENCE AND DISREGARD OF THE RULES AND DISRESPECT OF PROPERTY.
Gray Squirrel Campground is privately owned and operated. The camper accepts camping privileges and hereby releases the campground, its owners, and employees from all liability for loss and/or damage to property and or injury to his or her person from the use of campground facilities. Additionally, the camper agrees to indemnify the campground and its owners against claims resulting from loss or damage to property or injury to his person or any member of his family, or registered guest arising from the use of the camping facilities.
